It's been a while!


Life's been busy and with my introduction to the UE4 Marketplace, that has been taking up majority of my time. But I haven't forgotten about this game. I have been working on small changes and expect more details pretty soon!

I've always been blown away at how Naughty Dog handled interactive foliage in their games. And I set out to try and re-create something like that in UE4. My skillset definitely doesn't include programming or crazy shader math, but I managed to pull off something pretty decent using the Pivot Painter 2.0 material functions. Here's a little snippet of the foliage reacting and swaying to character movement.

I still have to get back to fixing a few AI glitches before I can put out the new and updated Alpha build for you guys to try out!
